The band SCOURGES emerged in July 2008, the mining city of Passos, southern region of Minas aims to make a Death / Black Old School.

Scourges is a death metal band with air passages in Black, which takes you back to the days when death metal was taking root. You can wait a little bit of everything from fast blast beats, headbanger mid-time Black riffs, melodies and some interesting macabre.
The main influences of the band is Death (old), Sodom (old), Bathory (old), Crimson Moonlight, Arvinger, Grave Declaration, Vaakevandring, Slechtvalke other acts which embodies the purity of its kind.
